Monsoon is very important season for India as rain is the source which affects the yeild of agricultural products and crops. Many dams, rivers and reserviours in India revive in this season through rains. However, it is also true that this season is prone to water-borne diseases like typhoid, cholera, diarrhea, bacillary and amoebic dysentery and hepatitis.

Homemade food should be eaten as a precaution and street food should be avoided. Clean the raw fruits and vegetables thoroughly  with clean water before cooking or consuming them. Also, eat immunity boosting foods like nuts, hot soup, probiotics, broccoli, turmeric, garlic, ginger, citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables etc. Also, drink alkaline water regularly. which is beneficial for health and also enhances your immune system.
